Alert Consumers : Subscribe to an alert

1. Subscribe via Public Folder for BI document alerts

2. Select Alerts to subscribe

3. Select destination for alert notification


Alert Consumer : Modify and Unsubscribe from Alert

Users can modify their alert subscription, with same UI as subscribing to an alert

Users can unsubscribe from all alerts in a document in Public Folders


Alert Consumer : Subscribed Alerts

Allows to modify subscription and unsubscribe

Lists all alerts a user is currently subscribed to


Alert Consumer : Search

Search for an alert within BI Launchpad


Alert Consumer : View Alert Notification

Last 10 unread alert notifications on home page analytic

View alert notifications under My Alerts


Alert Consumer : View Alert Notification – Details

View Alert Details, change state or delete the notification

Viewer alert notification is marked as read

1. View and Edit rights on the event object.

2. View and Subscribe on User object.

Choose alerts and destinations for

Configuration in CMC : Event Creation

Administrators can also pre-subscribe or unsubscribe users to alerts

In CMC>Alerting, administrators can create File, Custom, and Schedule Events


Configuration in CMC : Alert Cleanup Settings

Cleanup older than N days

Clean 20% of alert messages

when limit is reached

In CMC Applications>Alerting Application you can configure alerts cleanup:

Cleanup thread in CMS runs:1. Once an hour2. When CMS is restarted 3. Messages will be deleted even if they have not been read.
