Where the Good Life Takes You
Commuter Etiquette
Please be considerate of your fellow commuters:
• Electronic devices such as laptops and portable DVD players are permitted on the bus. However, all electronic headphone devices should be for your ears only.
• Talk low so no one will know.
• Don’t engage in “cell yell” – most devices have sensitive microphones that can pick up even a whisper.
Thank you!
The City of Santa Clarita

Metrolink Fare MediaCity of Santa Clarita Transit will honor Metrolink fare media when the origin/destination pair includes the trip to be taken on the bus. It must be a valid monthly pass, valid one-way or round-trip ticket for the date of travel, or a 10-trip ticket validated on the date of travel at the Metrolink station.
Ten-trip tickets must be machine-validated on the date of travel to board the bus at no charge. If a customer who has NO valid Metrolink media boards a bus to a Metrolink Station, he pays the full bus fare.
Example 1: A customer boarding Commuter Express Route 795 in Lancaster with a Lancaster to Santa Clarita Metrolink pass may board Commuter Express 795 free of charge. However, the same customer would be required to pay the regular bus fare for a trip on Commuter Express 799 from Santa Clarita to Los Angeles.
Example 2: A customer validates a 10-trip ticket at the Santa Clarita Metrolink Station and travels by train to L.A. On the return trip to Santa Clarita, the customer may validate the 10-trip ticket at L.A. Union Station and use Commuter Express 799 instead of the train for that trip. Regular fare is required if the ticket is not validated for the specific trip to be taken.
