Week Celebration from 7th

In this inaugural function

assembly programme
was conducted in
Sanskrit only. Sanskrit
competitions were
organized in the
week. Fancy dress
competition (6th

Bhagavdgeeta
Recitation (7th
Std),
Geetagovinda Singing
(8th
Std),
Elocution/Story telling
(9th
Std), Quiz (10th
Std), Open Essay
writing competition in
Hindi (6th
to 12th
Std).
A Valedictory
function was
organized on 13th
August 2014.
Vidwan Gangadhar
Bhat, Professor of
Tarka Shastra,
Govt. Sanskrit
College, Mysore
was invited as the
chief guest. In his
speech he
expressed the
necessity of the
studying Sanskrit and
the peculiarities of
Sanskrit language.
Interaction session was also conducted by him and he cleared the doubts of the
students. In this valedictory function a Sanskrit skit, mono act and a group dance
were performed.

with prizes whose mother
tongue is Kannada,
Malayalam, Hindi and
Tamil. Two students of our
Vidyalaya Kumari K. V.
Padmasini (10th
Std) and
Kumari Lakshmi Nari (10th
Std) participated in the
interschool competitions
held at K.V, RWF Bangalore.
With the guidance of the Principal Smt. Ruby Huria,
Heramba R. Bhat, TGT Sanskrit has made this Sanskrit Week Celebration
successful.
