Field SuppliesNote: Every volunteer must bring personal snorkel gear. Make sure your mask fits well and doesn’t leak.1 wetsuit (strongly recommended for the February expedition; a three-millimeter shorty-type wetsuit isusually preferred)1 well-fitting mask [ ]1 pair of fins1 snorkel [ ]1 pair of booties1-2 small daypacks [ ]Sunscreen lotion with SPF 30 or higherInsect repellent spray [ ]1 beach towel1 small flashlight plus extra batteries [ ]1 notebook

Personal SuppliesNote: Bedding and bath towels will be provided; volunteers should not bring their own.Spending moneyPersonal toiletries (biodegradable soaps and shampoos are recommended)Antibacterial wipes or lotion (good for “washing” hands while in the field)Personal First Aid kit (e.g. anti-diarrhea pills, antibiotics, antiseptic, itch-relief, pain reliever, bandages, blistercovers, etc.) and personal medicationsLaundry detergent (pay washing machines are available at the research station; by doing a load of washmidway through the expedition, you can reduce the amount of clothes you need to pack)
