About SamudraSamudra was born out of a desire to inspire and support others on a journey to understanding the values of making healthy choices in our lives - physically, spiritually and energetically.

Founded in 2004 by Sheridan Hammond, Samudra specialised in retreats where guests could step out of their worlds and immerse themselves in yoga, surfing and nutrition. For many guests the experience was profound and through this success the need for a permanent space was born. This was achieved in 2007 when Laura Leaver joined Sheridan as Co-Founder and Samudra’s home location was created.

Samudra is a vibrant and conscious environment where we love to develop products and deliver service offerings that inspire you to make healthy choices and positive change. We bring together awareness of the body and movement through yoga, health and well-being through superfoods, a vegetarian cafe and wellness centre and connection with nature through our garden and retreats and an awareness of our impact on nature through our Eco-Store
