The tag of “Copycat”:Firstly company had to change the thinking of people about Samsung that it is a “Copycat”. Because for people who love innovative it was not a problem to get products of any other company.To counter this , the new management strategy was introduced due to which young, fresh designers were employed who innovated and took Samsung a step ahead of all other companies
The threat of Obsolescence:The other challenge the CEO had to face was the threat of obsolescence. He knew that his products are going to be obsolete in a few years, so it was desperately needed to create something new. Which made him develop the “New Management Strategy”.
“Value for Money”:It was necessary for the company to make the products which justify their value for the money spent. Because, the consumers always want to have more and spend less. So company had to make the products which were High Tech but of comparatively low cost.
