student-run company Creative-Collective. Like the planet it stands on, Architecture has and will always be evolving. I am increasingly fascinated by how technology, econom-ic and political freedoms continue to point architecture in an unexpected and intriguing direction; carrying with me my sketchbook to record my findings and experiments as I explore the world of architecture.

With all the conflict that still exists in the world to-day, I believe that archi-tecture have an influence in the coming of peace. If we can successfully bring people of all faiths and non-faiths together to share and embrace in an

environment that architecturally promotes happiness and delight, then maybe we can put aside our difference and remember that we are all human first. The design em-ulates the hill it sits opposite and use recycled concrete and green-ery to tackle the problems govern-ing urban sustainability.

Birdlife centre that sits on the same location that Morecam-be’s central pier once was. The design continues a sense of destruction and decay through a mix of materials – materials that have already decayed and materials which the sea will eventually decay. The building is broken into two, connected by a bridge. The separation al-

lows for boats to travel through and also frames the evening sun-set for views from the café.

The bird hides are separated from the building. The journey through the building and to the hides plays on the idea of ‘found spaces’ and users are driven through the building through light and materiality.
