An Eager Wait

A ground floor, 3 bedrooms set flat with handsome

space for kitchen garden.

This quarter is allotted to Mr. ANIL KUMAR

MISHRA, PGT Mathematics. He lives with his

family, a typical Brahmin family from Varanasi

Uttar Pradesh.

The “amma” of the family. Has successfully and

warmly crossed 80 winters of her life, the 81st yet to

come.

As far as her health is concerned she is a

habitual visitor to the homeopathic doctor at sector

12. (Perhaps trying to get rid of low blood pressure

troubles). Joint pain, headache, indigestion visit her

genuinely twice a month. Besides all these, she is

still robust enough to pick up the ‘aurhoul’ flowers

from Gupta ji’s garden sharp at 5.30 am. Actually,

neighbor’s petals pose a stronger intuition on the

Almighty…

Well clothed in a light grey cotton sari and light

shawl, she sits outside in sun with bowl filled with

peas to be peeled up.

MR.ANIL KUMAR MISHRA

A highly educated gentle man, helping the nation as

a teacher for 27 years. This massive experience and

knowledge is the proud custody of this man.

At work place, he is one of the most prompt

and earnest personnel.

When he is in the classroom, each and every

word he delivers means precious for the pupil. In

the words of students-“mishra sir is very strict.”

At home too he is the same very punctual with

little short temper.

He even doesn’t endure a 5 min delay from the

scheduled time of the tea to be served……….
