You may need to generate a
personal security token if your
admin has not whitelisted Appirio's
server...
To generate a personal security
token, go to “Reset My Security
Token” in your personal setup.
You should receive an email with
your security token immediately.
Now we are ready to start.
Here's an event
scheduled in your
Google Calendar
account.
And here's an event
scheduled in your
Salesforce account.
Go to the Appirio
Calendar Sync app. Then
the Calendar Sync tab.
This takes you to a setup
page on your first time.
You may need to paste your
security token at the end of
your Salesforce password.
Now you can configure
synchronization to a
Google Calendar.
Notice that the most frequent
automatic sync option is for
every two hours.
If you have multiple
Google calendars, be sure
to pick the right one.
You probably want to be
notified if a problem
occurs when syncing.
Start the first sync
when you save.
You can force a sync
whenever you want.
You can also view
a log of changes
made by syncs.
Events from your
Google Calendar
are now on
Salesforce.
And events from
Salesforce are now
on your Google
Calendar.
Voila!
