The Most Holy Trinity June 16, 2019 Trinity Sunday “But when he comes, the Spirit of Truth, he will guide you to all truth...” (John 16:13) Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to help us know and live the truth. To prepare ourselves, we need to open our hearts to receive this gift before we can give it. Develop a daily prayer routine. Talk and listen to the Holy Spirit. This is best done in silence, when we can hear His response. Intercessions for Life For work towards medical and scientific advancement: May God’s Spirit of truth guide these efforts, that discoveries may never come at the expense of human life; We pray to the Lord: Diocesan Young Adult Retreat August 2 nd -3 rd , 2019 All young adults (ages 18-39) are invited to the Diocesan young adult retreat on August 2 nd -3 rd at the Immaculate Conception Retreat center in Putnam, CT. If you are looking for a chance to relax and get spiritually recharged, then this retreat is for you! All are welcome! It doesn’t matter if you are devout in your faith or simply just searching for truth and purpose in life. The retreat will begin Friday evening after dinner and conclude on Saturday afternoon following the 4pm vigil Mass. The schedule will include keynote talks, Eucharistic Adoration, Reconciliation, time for prayer, and community with other young adults! The cost is $50, which includes breakfast and lunch on Saturday (eat dinner before you arrive on Friday) as well as overnight accommodations. To register go to neworcester.org/2019-young-adult- retreat. Deadline to register is July 17 th .
