PARISH LITURGICAL MINISTRIES AND PARISH CENSUS – Thank you to the 140 Families who have updated your contact information. I really appreciate those who have given your stewardship of time and talent in the Parish Ministries. I have listed those who have signed up for Ministries (if there is a mistake, please let Christie know this week Monday-Thursday 8:30-12, 1-4) 270.247.2843. As you will see, we need more ministers at each Mass. Please reconsider giving of your time and talent, and call Christie this week to sign up for Greeter/Ushers, Readers & Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, and security at the main door. We also need more people who are willing to come to the church on Fridays for holy hours (for safety I like to have at least two people at each hour); beginning this week, in order to protect the adorers and the Blessed Sacrament, and so that adorers my leave if their replacement(s) don’t show up, the main doors of the church will be locked on Fridays as on any other day, and the side door may be accessed using the code. I will be announcing training sessions to be conducted after the Masses in the upcoming month(s). There are extra census forms on the table by the side door if you need to fill one out this weekend. Next Sunday, 29 October, will be the last opportunity to update your census and Ministries until next October. Thanks again to those who are striving to be good stewards. Also, if you would be willing to lead the Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy before the 10:30 Mass, please call Christie this week. HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION CHRISTMAS MASS SCHEDULE – About 25% of the three weekend English Mass participants signed up for a 4 PM Christmas Eve Mass. Therefore, I have decided that there will be a 4 PM Mass on Christmas Eve mainly because I understand that families with small children would rather make their obligation on the eve instead of on Christmas morning. The Christmas Day Masses will be at 9AM in English and 11 AM in Spanish. HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION – ALL SAINTS DAY MASSES – Tuesday, 31 October, 6:30 PM in Spanish Wednesday, 1 November, 8 AM & 6 PM in English HOLY LAND 10 DAY PILGRIMAGE BEGINNING 29 JANUARY 2018 – There are a few more spaces available for this pilgrimage.
