This Week’s Suggestion: 5) Learn to say this prayer: “Dear Lord, bless [annoying
person’s name] and have mercy on me!”
Weekly Ways to Be Merciful During this Extraordinary
Year of Mercy declared by
Pope Francis, you are
invited to take advantage
of weekly suggestions on
how we can live out the
Corporal and Spiritual
Works of Mercy.
A complete listing of the Corporal and Spiritual Works of
Mercy can be found online at www.st-bede.org.
Msgr. Marine will be conducting a
"BOOK TALK" as a part of St.
Bede's Extraordinary Jubilee of Mer-
cy. This opportunity is scheduled for
two Thursdays - March 31 & April
7, 2016 and the book is entitled:
“FREEDOM AND FORGIVENESS
- A Fresh Look at the Sacrament
of Reconciliation” written by Fr. Paul
Farren. The talks will begin at 7pm,
in the Drexel Center.

All the ‘yon teens’ had a great time at Saturday’s Oldies But Goodies Night, hosted by “The Geater with the Heater,” Jerry Blavat. All of the top hits of the ‘60s and ‘70s brought folks to the dance floor (above). Later, Jerry took time to talk with Monsignor Marine and Joe Brusco (right).
50th Anniversary
Commemorative Book We are getting closer to the completion of our 50th Anni-
versary Commemorative Book. This book will be worthy of
display in your home, on the coffee table, or as a gift.
The book will contain over 100 pages of history, stories,
pictures and personal testimonials from former priests, reli-
gious, etc., that will help us to cherish and preserve the mem-
ories of 50 years for generations to come.
The anniversary committee would like to invite as many
parishioners as possible to be a part of this historical record.
A special section of the book will contain a listing of the
names of book patrons, living and deceased. A donation of
$30 for a single line listing in this section will also entitle the
donor to a free copy. Below you will find a sample form to
assist you in making a listing in this special section. We ask
that you complete the form and attach it to your donation, and
drop it off at the Rectory by the Feb. 29 deadline.

Acts of Mercy On March 13, 2015, Pope Francis beautifully said that, "Mercy
shows the beating heart of Christ." As we continue our efforts in the
pro-life movement, we can be a witness to God's mercy when we
encounter pregnant mothers, and also those working in the abortion
industry.
Please consider joining one of the local 40 Days for Life cam-
paigns taking place in West Chester, Philadelphia and Norristown.
This is a truly wonderful way to make an act of mercy. Sign up for an
hour at www.40daysforlife.com.
Praying at the Planned Parenthood at 600 Louis Drive in Warmin-
ster on Friday mornings is a great Lenten activity. There are always
people there, outside by the curb, praying on Fridays, when the abor-
tions occur. This is nearby, requires little effort or time, and saves
lives. Bring a friend!
