Saint Anne Catholic School 1111 S. Cherry Street, Tomball, TX 77379 school.stanne-tomball.org T: 281-351-0093 Newsflash March 6, 2020 Dear St. Anne Families: The month of February was a busy one! Steps for Students and our Crusader Fiesta Gala were both a huge success thanks to the dedication and generosity of our community. It was wonderful to see so much participation at each event, and attendance was higher than ever before. While we are still waiting for final numbers, we know that these two fundraisers grossed over $100,000 which will be used to enhance security and support our programs. A special thank you to Stephanie Regitz, our Steps 4 Students chair, and Rachel Everett and Laura Griswold, our gala chairs for their tireless work and dedication to make these events so successful. Thank you to the Dad’s Club for helping to maintain our school and grounds. Planning and work for the 2020-2021 school year is well underway. Our calendar is almost complete and once approved by the Archdiocese will be published to the community. New student enrollment will continue as we have openings at all grade levels. A huge thank you to Mrs. April Light who will be our 2021 gala chair. We are in need of a chair for Steps 4 Students next year. As we continue with the Lenten season it is important to focus on community. Discipleship flourishes in communities that people feel a part of, where we honor ideas, ideals and the values of the community. In our St. Anne community, we are bound by relationships and shared values. We work hard every day to build our community through relationships, participation in the classroom and school activities, keeping the creation of discipleship and calling young people to holiness as our goal. Hope to see all of you at mass this weekend as we continue our time during Lent in preparation for the Risen Christ. I hope all of you have a blessed and restful spring break! Thank you for all that you do to support our school and mission. Only by His Grace, Kendall Shamas

Friday’s Stations of the Cross
Your prayers are essential to support those who nurture our children in all
the programs and activities provided by our school. The traveling crucifix
is a school wide effort to pray for our students, families, teachers, staff
members, and volunteers as they engage in their daily work in education.
The crucifix will be presented to your family at the conclusion of school
mass. We ask that you return it to the school office the following Tuesday.
If you have any questions, please call the school office at 281-351-0093.
