Offering views of Laguna Bay and Noosa’s North Shore, Sails Restaurant Noosa is
the perfect year round venue for the ultimate wedding reception. From elegantly simple to truly extravagant weddings, Sails is among industry leaders in weddings
and events.
Cocktails and canapés can be enjoyed on our private beachfront patio overlooking views exclusive to Sails. Once the sunset has turned to dusk, your guests are
invited to a three course meal to accompany the formalities of the event.
Executive Chef, Paul Leete, presents the very best in modern Australian cuisine.
His food is creative, while keeping a strong focus on fresh, seasonal produce.
Paul combines beautiful ingredients, sourced with integrity to create clean,
thoughtful and uncomplicated menus. Sails offers menus that reflect each season’s climate, only fresh and available ingredients are used to create our menus every
three months.
The Venue
You are welcome to select cocktails, wine and beer from our wine list and
charged on a consumption basis or beverage packages are available for your consideration. We also offer an extensive ‘Cellar List’ if you would like to include
a selection of superior wines to accompany your menu.
Sails can cater for up to 130 guests seated. Sails Restaurant is a multi-award winning restaurant which offers a quality dining experience for sophisticated
receptions.
A booking form and fee is required to confirm your date. Please be aware that events are only considered booked once the booking fee has been paid/
processed and you have received a confirmation email from me. Please feel

The Ceremony Noosa is one of the most amazing locations on the Sunshine
Coast to get married, offering breathtaking scenery which will
have all your guests looking on in awe.
Sails Restaurant is lucky enough to have so many outdoor
ceremony locations all within walking distance.
Although we do not offer the option for a ceremony on site.
We will gladly have your wet weather backup ceremony
should there be rain on your special day. Please feel free to
make an enquiry as some conditions apply for this.
If you wish to hold your wedding in a reserve or on a beach,
you are required to apply to Noosa Council. Your wedding
must follow certain guidelines to protect Noosa's parks and
reserves and ensure they remain available for the enjoyment
of all park users.
An administration charge applies to all applications.
There are also many beautiful churches and chapels only
minutes away from Hastings Street should you want a more
traditional ceremony. Bonus is there is no need for wet
weather backup.

Paul and his team combine ingredients, sourced with integrity, to create clean, thoughtful and uncomplicated menus.
It is his preference to use growers who practice organic and non genetically modified
farming techniques and are pesticide free. By using fruit and vegetables that complement our climate, Paul is able to consistently create menus that reflect the very
best our region has to offer.
We offer an a la carte style menu, where you select 3 options and your guests chooses on the night. Menus at Sails Restaurant change every three months with the season.
This is to ensure we source freshest and highest quality produce. This is our current
menu so remember the menu may be different by the time of your reception.

Knowing all dietary requirements before the date of your reception helps
us to ensure that everyone is catered for on the day.
Please include this in your invitations and let us know what dietary
requirements your guests may have.
You do not need to include vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options
in your selection of the three entrees, mains and desserts.
We will cater for them separately.
However, please do include these in your canapé selection.

A booking fee along with our reservation form is required to confirm your reservation. The booking
fee is non-refundable and does not come off the final bill. To avoid disappointment, please be aware that weddings are never to be considered ‘booked’ until the Booking Fee is received and you
have received a booking confirmation.
I N C L U S I O N S
The booking fee is a one off payment that covers administration, gratuity for the staff and
co-ordination costs before your event and on the night. This is not inclusive of the minimum spend

C A N C E L L A T I O N S
Six months notice is required to receive refunds of any part payments made to date. Four
weeks notice or less, total catering costs for the event will be charged. In the event of any unforeseen circumstances or accidents, Sails reserves the night to cancel any booking and
refund any deposit at any time.
P A Y M E N T S
A booking fee is required to confirm your booking, this payment does not come off your final bill. A
part payment of $2,000 is required 6 months prior to your date. Your “minimum spend” and/or
your “final payment” must be paid 10 days prior to your event. Beverage accounts can be settled on the day of your event. All part payments will be deducted from your account. This does not
include your booking fee. Please note we have a 1.52% fee on all credit cards and a 1% fee on all debit cards. 15% surcharge applies to all public holidays.
S T O R A G E
Due to the limited storage space at Sails, we are only able to offer you storage 12 hours prior to your event. We only offer storage for cakes, place cards, seating plans, wedding favours etc. We
do not offer storage for large amounts of decorations. Nothing is to be left behind after a function. Please arrange for all personal items to be removed at the conclusion of your function. Sails takes
no responsibility for any damage or theft of goods.

You will be liable for any damages that occur to the premises and/or Interior during your functions
by your guests.
T I M E L I N E
As we are catering to a large number of guests, it is imperative to continue food service once it has begun. If speeches run through service times, we will continue with the delivery of meals. The
event co-ordinator will run the event accordingly to the timeline.
V E N U E T I M E S
Sails Restaurant is available for Lunch functions from 11am till 4pm.
Dinner functions from 5pm, music concludes at 11pm all guests must depart by 11.30pm.
E N T E R T A I N M E N T
Due to our close proximity to accommodation in Hastings Street and Liquor Licensing Laws, we are only permitted two musicians amplified or a DJ. Drums and brass instruments are not accepted.
Sails Restaurant is not a venue where entertainment can be played at dance club levels. All enter-tainers are required to use our Bose amplification system, which delivers controlled volume output.
No independent speakers will be permitted onto the premises. Entertainment must conclude by
11.00pm, Background level music is then provided by the venue to enjoy until 11.30pm. We will not accept any disturbances to our residential neighbours. Sails reserves the right to close the
venue doors to ensure noise level effects are kept to a minimum. A signed contract by your enter-tainer is required prior to your event to ensure they are willing to adhere to our entertainment
guidelines. We also have iPod facilities available to use through our system, this will be controlled by the event coordinator on the night for your convenience. We are unable to play CDs. All music
must be converted to an iPod/iPad/iPhone. There are also two cordless microphones available that play through our in house system.

Food and beverage selections are required two weeks prior to your wedding reception. This is to allow enough time to cater and roster for your event. Our Menu and Beverage packages change
every quarter with the seasons, these will automatically be forwarded to you.

Sails Restaurant changes menus every three months to offer each
season’s freshest produce. Menu ingredients are subject to change.
BEVERAGES
You are welcome to select beer, wine and spirits from our restaurant and
cellar list. Beverages are charged on consumption or fixed price package.
Please be aware wine vintages and pricing are subject to change.
Sails is a licensed Restaurant, BYO is unavailable.
TASTINGS
Sails does not provide tasting plates.

All styling and décor must be out sourced and is not included in the minimum spend. You are more
than welcome to bring in your own decorations, however Sails staff only have limited time for set up so it is recommended to have someone there to help. Sails only allows to hang heavy items on
the front paved area middle pole. All other hanging items must be 1kg or less.
L I Q U O R L I C E N S I N G
Sails Restaurant upholds all Queensland liquor licensing laws and will not supply alcohol to intoxi-
cated persons or minors. Queensland liquor licensing laws do not allow minors to consume alcohol regardless of the parents’ consent. Appropriate ID will be requested by staff to support responsible
service of alcohol requirements.

Sails does not allow for sparkler “send offs” as this is a fire hazard. Unfortunately we do not allow you to remove our chairs and replace them with different ones.
Under no circumstances are there to be fireworks during your time at Sails. This is between the
times of 10am - 12pm.
