B-Tech Projects

Main project : Data Acquisition and Data Distribution of aircraft signals [DADD card] (Duration – 3 months) Done in the Organization: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Hyderabad (HAL) Description:

For any military, industrial, scientific applications, interaction with real time data is of primary concern. A proper hardware is required that acquires the real time inputs and preserves them in steady format for the processor to operate upon them. This unit referred as DADD card, acquires data in its various forms not only converts it but also distributes it to the respective targets in required form. The main function of this unit is it acts as an interface between various sub-systems and a main processing unit. In a nutshell this unit facilitates the controlling and monitoring functions of the processor by routing signals in groups.Light Combat Aircraft, world’s smallest light weight aircraft designed to meet the requirements of Indian Air Force is equipped with DADD card which provides health status of various systems. Whole, this improves the maintenance of the system equipment.

Mini project : Data Transmission Using Embedded modem (Duration – 1 month) Done in the Organization: Electronics Corporation of India Limited-Hyderabad (ECIL) Description: A simple circuit is developed for the purpose of wired data transmission using embedded modem. Here data transmitted between two computers using a PSTN line.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Participated in robotics in the feast conducted by other Engineering Colleges – Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, Anurag Group of Institutions

Participated in Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) student chapter in the events like Rebus and paper art in B-Tech third year.

Won first prize in B-Tech third year for a non-technical project “Peoples Science Movement” in Department of Humanity and Science.

Participated in Personality Enhancement Program (PEP) organized at UPES. Volunteered an event called IPL BIDDING in UURJA`14, cultural fest, UPES.

Organised an event TABOO –The Business Way in IGNITE- 2015 at UPES.EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
