EMPLOYEE SAFETY FAIR POSTER DESIGN COMPETITION Description The Safety Month Planning Committee (SMPC) needs a poster to advertise the 2013 Employee Safety Fair. Eligibility This competition is open to all current employees within Facilities Services, PMCS, and BFS. Design Requirements Must incorporate: o Name of event: “Employee Safety Fair” o Date: Wednesday, June 19 th 2013 o Time: Day 1‐4pm, Evening 6‐9pm o Location: FC1 Training Rooms A/B/C o Advertise: Games, Prizes, Snacks o Parking: Same information as flyers from previous years (see flyers) o Size: 8 ½” x 11” (letter) or 8 ½” x 14 (legal) Use of vibrant colors, connection to UT, and relevance to safety are encouraged. Submission Details: Designs may be submitted electronically or on paper. Designs submitted on paper must be transferable to a digital image. Must include entry form with your submission(s). One design per entry form. Participants may submit more than one design with a maximum of three entries per person. Send flyer submissions to [email protected] or Campus Mail Code: H7055 or drop off at FC1 1.104. The deadline to submit logo designs is 11:59 PM CST, Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Selection The top 3 submission will be chosen by SMPC on May 29, 2013. The winning flyer will be announced by Friday, May 31, 2013. Prizes The first place flyer design will be used by the SMPC as the official 2013 Safety Fair poster. Additionally, the following prizes will be awarded (photos of prizes at the end of document): Art Set BBQ Set Tool Set The first place winner receives an award and may have first pick of one of the three prizes. The second place winner may select the next prize. The third place winner is awarded the final prize.
