4.1. Description of first aid measures
Inhalation Get medical attention immediately. Consult a physician for specific advice. Remove affectedperson from source of contamination. If it is suspected that volatile contaminants are stillpresent around the affected person, first aid personnel should wear an appropriate respiratoror self-contained breathing apparatus. For breathing difficulties, oxygen may be necessary.
Ingestion Get medical attention immediately. Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Remove any dentures.Move affected person to fresh air at once. Do not induce vomiting unless under the directionof medical personnel. If vomiting occurs, the head should be kept low so that vomit does notenter the lungs. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Maintain an openairway.
Skin contact Get medical attention immediately. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water or use anapproved skin cleanser. Continue to rinse for at least 10 minutes. Remove contaminatedclothing immediately and wash skin with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritationpersists after washing.
Eye contact Get medical attention immediately. Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Remove anycontact lenses and open eyelids wide apart. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes. Do notrub eye. Get medical attention if symptoms are severe or persist after washing.

Inhalation Gas or vapour may irritate the respiratory system. May cause allergy or asthma symptoms orbreathing difficulties if inhaled. May cause coughing and difficulties in breathing.
