5.2. Special hazards arising from the substance or mixtureHazardous combustionproducts
If a building containing the product is on fire, a high risk of explosion is involved. Perform anurgent evacuation of the building and its surroundings. Notify the emergency services. Do notinhale the smoke because it contains heavy metals (lead). The combustion residues and contaminated extinguishing liquids must be disposed ofaccording to valid regulations.
5.3. Advice for firefightersFire fighting procedures DO NOT fight fire when fire reaches explosives. Leave danger zone immediately.
Special protective equipmentfor firefighters
During the fire of the product, keep the safe distance, use suitable breathing protection(isolation device), or self-contained breathing apparatus.
SECTION 6: Accidental release measures
6.1. Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency proceduresGeneral measures The measures to be taken in case of accidental leakage (e.g. traffic accident) depend on the
scale of the accident and an expert opinion of a specialist. Warn away trespassers. Eliminate all ignition sources if safe to do so. Evacuate the area dueto possible explosion.
Personal protection measures Avoid contact with skin and eyes. For personal protection, see section 8.
Do not discharge into drains, water courses or onto the ground.
6.3. Methods and material for containment and cleaning upCleaning method Pick up the spilled product mechanically using spark-free tools. Collect the product in
approved and properly labeled containers. Disposal of a damaged product may be performedonly by an authorized person. Disposal of the contaminated material must be in accordancewith section 13.
