Thank you for choosing The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa for your upcoming program. As you prepare for your event, enclosed are
the details of Marriott’s Commitment to Clean, our latest hours for availability of our properties amenities and the additional steps we
are taking to provide you and our guests with a comfortable and safe event.
Our rigorous Commitment to Clean incorporates the highest of standards in hygiene and cleanliness. You will notice several
enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout the public spaces, guest rooms and meeting spaces to include:
Temperature checks for our associates at all shifts
Associates wearing personal protective equipment
Hand sanitizing stations throughout the property
Utilization of EPA-approved cleaning & disinfesting agents
Hand sanitizing wipes in the guest rooms
Sanitizing stations at high customer touch points
Signage promoting social distancing
Reduction of shared use items
Additionally, safety partitions have been installed to help you, your guests and our associates maintain safe distancing. In our public
spaces we have increased the frequency of our cleaning in all areas with hyper focus on the high traffic areas like restrooms, doors
and door handles. We have modified our housekeeping practices to minimize the number of times we enter your room and our
team is thoroughly disinfecting between each guests stay. We have physically distanced communal resort spaces for your
enjoyment.
We value you as our guest and thank you for supporting us during this time. The steps we are taking throughout the entire property
to make you and your guests feel safe are part of our commitment to delivering a memorable and safe stay. We look forward to

Meeting Logistics
Meeting room set-up to follow local regulations:
72’ round table – six (6) guests
66’ round table – five (5) guests
6’ schoolroom table – one (1) guest
Theatre style: minimum 6’ between chairs on all sides
Exhibit & tradeshows – proper distancing between booths and floor
slicks will be required for safe spacing. No high-touch “communal
stations” nor promotional items to be shared by sponsors or
exhibitors will be permitted
Hand sanitizing stations will be provided throughout the meeting
space along with signage promoting social distancing (provided by
the resort)
Pens & pads will be available upon request. Self-service water
stations are suspended at this time. Preset pens, pads, individual
bottled waters and candy for each guest setting will be available at an
additional cost. Please inquire with your event manager for further
details and pricing

F&B Logistics
Banquet menus have been modified to showcase styles of
service that offer individually packaged items, such as pastries,
yogurts and bottled juices. We have enhanced the live action
stations allowing the culinary team to plate individual portions
for your enjoyment.
Plated meal functions will require our culinary and banquet
team to adhere to all required personal protective equipment
during the plate up and service of your meals. We will
discontinue, at this time, the usage of pre-setting food on the
tables. All silverware will be preset on the tables as rollups.
Glassware will be faced down on the table until the guests are
seated for service; this includes water, iced tea, coffee and wine
service.
Event bars will be staffed with a bartender. Self-service bars
are suspended for your safety. Beverages available will be
prebatched cocktails and bottled wines in accordance with
state/local liquor laws. Our bartenders will have sanitizing
stations, gloves, trash receptacles and dry paper towels. Social
distancing will be practiced at the bar when a line forms with
signage reminders for your guests. Pre-sliced fruit and
garnishes will not be available at this time for usage.
Individually wrapped straws will be available.
