The Serengeti offers different performance choices for

the discriminating RVer. The patented Magnum Air"' B­

Series Air-Ride chassis is an option on the 2000 Serengeti.

Magnum's patented air suspension system has been mathemati­

cally optimized to achieve maximum stability through a careful

analysis of suspension geometry. The air bags are properly

sized and air pressure is then set to maintain a Hi-Volume, Low-Pressure (HVLP) sys­

tem that provides the most comfortable ride you'll find in any motorhome.

And for the Safari traditionalist, the Blue Max Chassis with B.F. Goodrich

Velvet-Ride"' suspension remains the standard. The Velvet-Ride suspension system uti­

lizes B.F. Goodrich's exclusive Torsilastic® rubber torsion springs to literally cradle the

chassis in rubber . The result is a smooth, quiet maintenance-free ride that Safari owners

have enjoyed for years.

Both the Magnum Velvet-Ride and Magnum-Air .... are powered with the most

reliable electronic diesel engine available on the market today, the Caterpillar 3126B1M

turbo diesel The 300HP engine develops 860 ft. lbs. of torque at 2200 rpm, for han­

dling both the hills and highways with ease. You also can choose the 330HP engine

upgrade for additional power. Caterpillar's design improvements include quieter engine,

greater fuel efficiency and more electronic capability.

Magnum's raised rail design allows for efficient use !Jf space beneath the floor of

your coach while providing a rigid foundation.. From the built in slide-out mechanism

to the front mounted generator and bountiful storage, the Magnum chassis has it all.
