Russia, located beside the river Moscova. Capital up to 1991 of the extinct Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

Red square of Moscow During the Soviet régime it used as place of

celebration of the military party of May 1 and also as location of Lenin's mausoleum. A wall of red stone, in one of the sides of the square, surrounds the Kremlin that was the center of power in the Soviet Union before its breakup in 1991. San Basilio's cathedral, of the XVI century, presents eight unequal domes and a characteristic silhouette of the buildings and churches of the Russian orthodox architecture. The Red square measures 400 m of longitude.

Palacio from the Kremlin

The most modern construction in the numerous buildings and churches located inside the medieval walls. The Kremlin, built in 1156 and whose defenses have been reinforced in several occasions to repel the attacks of the Mongolian ones, it is at the moment the Russian government's headquarters.

Cathedral of San Basilio The brilliant light of the sun illuminates the

capricious needles and the complex domes chiseled in form of onion of San Basilio's Cathedral, the most picturesque building in Moscow. This extraordinary work, built by the middle of the XVI century to commemorate the conquest of the regions of Kazan and of Astrakhan on the part of Iván the Terrible Czar from Russia.

Calle Arbat The street Arbat dates of the XIX century

and it has been during a lot of time place of writers' encounter and artists in the Russian capital, Moscow.

Theater Bolshói The theater Bolshói is the center of

attention of the square Sverdlova in Moscow. It is built in the place of an old theat that caught fire in 1853. The Bolshói has conserved the grandiose piazza of eight columns crowned by Apollo's car that is part of the primitive building

San Petersburgo San Petersburgo, city located in the

northwest of the Russia. Located in the delta of the river Neva, in the oriental end of the gulf of Finland, most of the city was built on the riversides of the river and in the islands formed in the same one. It is the second bigger city of Russia.

Cathedral San Isaac's Dome of San Isaac's cathedral, in the Russian

city of San Petersburgo, beside the river Neva. Declared orthodox Russian church for the czar Alejandro I during the decade of 1800, San Isaac's cathedral served as museum of the atheism during almost the whole communist period. Today they take place religious occupations and it is also one of the tourist points of bigger attractiveness of San Petersburgo.

Palacio of summer of San Petersburgo Pedro the Big one, czar from Russia of

1682 at 1725, ordered at the beginning of the XVIII century the construction of a summer palace in what today is Petrodvorets, a neighborhood of San Petersburgo. After the II Guerra World cup it had to be reconstructed. Here the central part is already shown restored and that it consists of 64 sources

Museum of the Ermitage The Museum of the Ermitage resides in five

beautiful buildings of the Russian city of San Petersburgo located beside the river Neva. The main one, the denominated Palacio of Winter, it was the winter residence of the Russian czars until the victory, in 1917, of the Bolshevik revolution.
