Objectives:
1. To create a platform for communities to network and exchange
ideas and experiences on forest governance.
2. To capacity-build communities on empowerment initiatives in
maintaining urban and rural green areas.

PAKAS, Kg Endah was founded in 1997 by MNS which
became the first community model to successfully
implement environmental awareness activities.
PAKAS Komuniti is a community network to solve matters
arising from their proximity to environmentally sensitive
areas and / or experiencing human –wildlife conflict.
PAKAS Komuniti provides a platform for discussion,
sharing of ideas and experiences amongst the various
community groups, which enhance their togetherness in
addressing environmental issues.
PAKAS Komuniti was officially formed during the World
Firefly Day 2018 on the 8 July in Taman Kelip-Kelip
Kampong Kuantan, Selangor.
