There were four of us standing and photographing the statues when this fellow pulls up in his shiny Corvette, rolls down the window and says “Isn’t that some statue!” .. You could not possibly miss the voice, even when the face (without makeup) didn’t ring a bell. He chatted with us for several minutes and said how amazed he was that people did this for him and Chris (JP). I superimposed the statue into this photo – see the likeness? Me neither! I asked and received permission to take his photo – what a great guy!
