Runic Megaliths Version 2.2
The Runic Megaliths are a Time Limited Alliance only events where special
Runic Megalith spaces will appear throughout the Domain. All Alliance
members with an Alliance HQ are able to fight each other for control of the
Runic Megalith spaces.
Whoever is in control in control of the Runic Megaliths for the longest amount of time will gain powerful rewards, both for themselves and for their Alliance.
Locating the Megaliths
There are 3 ways to find the Megaliths.
1. A blind search where you simply move the map around and hope to
see one.
2. Use the bot so search a province at a time
3. You can wait for the game to release the cords in the forums. They are
usually posted in the Events and Contests area of the forums.
There are only 20 Megaliths per domain!
Attacking & Capturing a Runic Megalith.
- At the start, each Megalith will/ May have many troops defending it.
- These troops do not revive after battle and once they are defeated, the player
who finished them off will take control of the Megalith.
- A preset number of bonus troops will come to reinforce the player when they
1st capture the Megalith. (War Cry Buff will double that)
- Any player cannot attack the same Megalith more than once every 30
minutes. But you can Port and attack the remaining Megaliths. - You cannot attack a Megalith that is currently controlled by a fellow Alliance
member.
- A Player cannot control two separate Megaliths at the same time.
- You cannot send units to Fortify/Reinforce the Megalith.
- Only the Troops that defeated the troops in the Megalith will be there to
defend it. (+ Bonus Troops and extra Bonus Troops from War Cry)
- While you have control of the Megalith, you will not see your Mystical Runes
increasing every second. Mystical Runes are awarded to you all at once when
you are defeated and lose control of a Megalith or when the event ends.
Megaliths can appear with a player name, a --- or a ???. You can use
March+ to see who is under the mist there if their name is not
apparent.
You can only send 200,000 troops from a level 12 Rally and 215,000
from a level 13 Rally.
Troops defend the Megalith in the beginning. After they are killed, they
do not regenerate. The player’s troops replace the megalith troops but
there are bonus troops that the Megalith provides each player that
holds it. (for Example)
These troops will join your remaining troops to battle for the megalith
when you are attacked.
Double When the War Cry Bonus is activated by Chancellor.
First you gain control of a Megalith.
An In-game HQ message as well
Defending a Megalith after Capture.
As additional help, besides Arcane Bonuses you can activate these Shop
items as well for help on Defense.
Reinforcements.
Mystical Runes
For every second that you are in control of a Runic Megalith you will generate 1
Mystical Rune. These Runes are used only in ranking which Alliance and players
controlled the Megaliths for the longest and cannot be used for any other purpose.
Runes will be consumed at the end of every Runic Megalith event and do not carry
over from one event to the next.
After I lose control of the Megalith, how do I know how many Runes I collected?
You get 1 rune for every second you control a Megalith. Once you lose the
Megalith, you will get a notice in the HQ messages with the Runes you have
earned.
Overall you Can watch the Leader board for the Event.
The Leaderboard
There is a leaderboard on the runes and even if your reports in your HQ are
not correct, the runes are calculated correctly on the leaderboard!
Prizes
Each time the Runic Megalith event is running there are special prizes given
to the top performing Alliances and individual players who control the
Megalith the longest.
There are 3 different types of awards that can be given out:
1. The player with the highest individual amount of Mystical Runes. Prizes
are awarded regardless if their Alliance performed well or not.
2. The Alliance with the highest collective Mystical Runes. Prizes will be
awarded to every member of the Alliance, as long as they sent at least
ONE attack on a Megalith.
3. The final prize type will go to the best player in a winning Alliance,
based on the player’s individual collected Mystical Runes.
“Please check the caravan message for details of that event for details.”
Using Alliance War Cry Buff Bonus.
During a Runic Megalith event, the Chancellor of an Alliance can use amber
that is stored in the HQ Vault to activate the Alliance War Cry Buff.
This is a special time limited buff that is applied to EVERY member of your
Alliance.
Whenever you take control of a Runic Megalith (Capture), a group of Bonus
Troops are added to your troops to help you Defend the Runic Megalith.
(Against other players that want to capture the Runic Megalith you are in
control of)
The Alliance war Cry Buff inspires TWICE as many troops to come to your
aid to help you defend your captured Runic Megalith.
The number of Bonus Troops are preset for EACH Runic Megalith Event, but
having the Alliance War Cry Buff will give TWICE as many Troops.
Alliance War Cry Bonus costs 5.000 Amber and lasts 1Hour.
(Shop Items) Runic Megalith Consumable Items.
There are 5 special consumable items that can give you a Boost while Defending
a Runic Megalith.
"Runic Aggression"
"A powerful Rune that boosts Attack by 10% while defending a Runic Megalith.
Lasts 1 hour."
"Runic Endurance"
"A powerful Rune that boosts Defense by 10% while defending a Runic Megalith.
Lasts 1 hour."

"Runic Vitality"

These Boosts will not grant you any bonus when attacking a Runic Megalith,
stacking boosts will not increase the 10% buff.
Alliance HQ related Troops There is NO Throne Room, No Champ Fighting in the HQ related Runic Megalith events. This includes No Boosts from Guardian(s) No Boost
from Blessings, Iron skin, Blood Fury etc. No Sacrificing.
Thus, JUST Base Stats (Attack, Defense, Life, Combat speed, Range)
including Accuracy. (Invisible base stat)
Foot Soldiers, Dragoons, and Long bowman are new trainable troops which
can be used in normal PvP and thus all of your cities.
Foot Soldiers – Infantry Troops
“Foot Soldiers serve the Alliance with crushing melee strikes that can
overcome the strongest defenses”
Dragoons – Horsed Troops
“Dragoons patrol the Alliance’s land, using high defense and lightning speed
to shrug of weak attacks and race down the battlefield”
Long bowman – RangeD Troops
“Use a sharp eye and piercing shots to keep the Alliance’s land free from
intruders.’
They are trainable but with a daily limit. (5 bundles) To train them you must
use Troop Bundles that you can obtain trough your FREE Alliance Gifting.
These troops have an additional bonus when Defending a Megalith.
(20% to Attack, Defense, Life, Speed & Range)
NO 20% Boost given when Attacking a Runic Megalith.
Do I have to use the new Megalith troops to attack?
No, any troops will work. But the base stats of these troops are very
strong and the Long Bow Archers have the highest Range Base stats of all
troops in game. And there will be a fourth Siege Troop coming.
Arcane Aura Megalith Bonuses Every Alliance HQ's Arcane Temple has an aura surrounding it. While your city is
within the aura, the Alliance buff will give a greater buff value than when your city
is outside of it. Arcane Temple can also supply alliances & players with bonuses for Megalith Events. Following 2 examples.
Thus, if you attack a Megalith who is also in the Aura then, you get the full Attack
bonus of 10% For Alliance or 5% Personal (if active). If the Megalith is outside, even
though you are inside the Aura, it is 5% (if active)
Alliance HQ
Thus, if you Defend a Megalith who is also in the Aura then, you get the full
Defense bonus of 10% for alliance or 5% Personal (if active). If the Megalith is
outside the Aura, even though you are inside the Aura, it is 5% (if activated)
Megalith events can be played individually or as an Alliance but teamwork as an
Alliance always pays off. Bonus wise the Alliance buff is higher than the Personal
one. Coordinating attacks and porting to various Megalith locations to retake can
be fun as an Alliance effort and more successful.
Alliance HQ
Notes:
- Alliances are ranked only against other Alliances in the same Domain,
thus Not Cross World.
- If you have recently changed Alliance while this event is running, you
will not be allowed to participate in the current event and must wait till
next time.”
- If your alliance runs the Tower Reports in Alliance Chat, you will see
there who was attacked and if you were defeated or defended
successfully.
- There are no tower alerts when you are getting attacked.
Patch Notes 2017:
- Sacrificing: Has been nulled on Megalith. Although possible to Sac,
the Sacced stats are not getting added on Attack nor Defense.
Status: Fixed.
- Misted Hostile: If you were trying to Attack a Megalith held by an
Alliance you were Hostile with you could not Attack, and resulted in an
Error. The fix then was to set all your Hostile Alliances to Neutral to fix
this problem.
Status: Fixed.
- War cry Bonus: Previous events even though activating this Bonus by
the Chancellor it did nothing. Currently when activated it does give the
Double Bonus troops.
Status: Fixed
- Sending a Champion to Megalith. Not possible anymore.
Status Fixed.
- Megalith Troop bonus stats. Troops that receive automatically a
troop stat bonus or troops that receive a troop stat bonus from Arcane
Temple bonus have the higher stats in Green in Original Reports and
PB+ reports.
Sharing is knowledge, and a lot of players are not sharing. Yes, it gives you and edge, or advantage, but
it leaves also many people clueless. The objective of these tutorials, is to teach, learn, educate players so ALL players have
a better under understanding of the game. The more players participate, the better the overall experience is for all players.
More attacking and defending means “lively” domains full of activity.
