Run For Life is a 4 week preseason running program designed toinspire athletes to increase their !tness levels and at the sametime, raise money and awareness for the 52 Kids Foundation andGrassroots Soccer, two Vermont based not-for-pro!ts. Proceedsfrom this fundraising campaign will go towards education andemployment programs that break the poverty cycle of orphanedand vulnerable children affected by HIV/AIDS living in Uganda,East Africa.

Run For Life is a collaborative effort between coach and their student athletes: the coach provides encouragement to formteams and work towards !tness goals while athletes increasetheir cardiovascular !tness by running, knowing that each step ismaking a difference for an at-risk Ugandan child.

By arriving at preseason training in better physical condition, theathletes decrease their risk of injury while the coach is given a !tter team that can spend more practice time on skills and tactics.
