Material: Material used should be based on the NDCA step list or any of its affiliates. Closed freestyles are restricted to syllabus material. Open freestyles are not restricted to syllabus. Drops are allowed in Gold and above categories and Solo Routines. Lifts are allowed in Theatre Arts Solos and Advanced level Am/Am Hustle only. 4. Age Category: You may enter (2) two age groups. Your true age level and one adjacent group down. The age of Amateur couples is determined by the age of the older participant. At least one of the Am/Am couple must be fifty (50) or older. 5. Medal Level: You may enter up to (3) three medal levels. All levels must be adjacent. No skipping of levels. You may enter in different levels in different styles. 6. Solo Routines: No solo is to exceed (3) three minutes. Music must be on a CD ready to play. 7. Dress Code: Costumes are permitted in all levels. 8. Video taping: There is no personal video taping allowed in the ballroom. Still pictures are permitted. 9. Judges: The judges’ decision will be final. No one is allowed to question a judge about any marks. 10. On Deck: It is the dancers’ responsibility to be in the on deck area two (2) heats prior to their scheduled events. You must also be in the ballroom thirty (30) minutes prior to your scheduled time. 11. Release Statement: You hereby give consent to the release of your name and likeness to be used in photographs, television, filming and recording of this event in connection with the television broadcast, exhibition, distribution or promotion of this event in any manner and by any means now or in the future. If any person has an objection to being taped please notify the organizers in writing two (2) weeks prior to the event. Failure to do so will be considered as permission. 12. Multi Dance Divisions: To qualify for a Medal Multi Dance division you must enter the number of freestyles (single dance entries) as your Multidance. You may enter only one (1) medal level of Multidance, the highest level of your freestyles. You may also enter Nine Dance, Ten Dance, Olympic Style and Open Championships. There are two age divisions in the Multidance. 'A' =50-64 and 'B' = 65+ 13. ln the Olympic style heats, Medals/trophy will be handed out to the winners. 14. For the Pro/Am Freestyle and Multidance events, only the student must be 50 or older. The teacher may be any age. 15. For the Am/Am Freestyle events, one of the couple must be 50 or older. The age is determined by the oldest of the couple. 16.
