The SR22 ® has light double-action and crisp single- action trigger pulls. Its external hammer is designed with a rounded spur for easy cocking and single-action shooting.

The SR22® features a polymer frame and two interchangeable (no tools required) rubberized grips with angled serrations, allowing shooters to select either a slim or wider palm swell option.

The aerospace-grade aluminum slide has serrations on both front and rear for better grip and slide manipulation.

The easy-to-use underside Picatinny-style rail features multiple cross slots for variable mounting of most popular accessories.

The dovetailed, high-visibility 3-dot sight system has a fixed front sight and a rear sight that is both windage and elevation adjustable. A reversible blade allows shooters to select two white dots or a solid black blade.

Other SR22® features include a stainless steel replaceable barrel, an ambidextrous manual thumb safety/decocking lever, ambidextrous magazine release, plus a visual inspection port to provide confirmation of a loaded or empty chamber.

F E A T U R E S : The Ruger ® Rapid Deploy folding rear sight provides

The six-position telescoping M4- style buttstock and Mil-Spec buffer tube allow the rifle to be properly sized for different shooters, or varying levels of outerwear or defensive gear

Made from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum forging, the flattop upper receiver includes a forward assist, dust cover and brass deflector, and is Type III hard coat anodized for maximum durability.

The bolt is machined from 9310 alloy steel and is shot peened and pressure (proof) tested to ensure strength, structural integrity and durability.

The front sight post is elevation adjustable, and a front sight tool is included. The A-2 Style F-Height allows co-witness with many optics.

The patent pending Barrel Nut and Delta Ring are designed for one person handguard removal and installation. The design accepts standard carbine length handguards. The barrel nut uses a standard wrench and can be swapped with a Mil-Spec barrel nut if desired.

The 16.10'' medium contour barrel is cold hammer-forged providing ultra-precise rifling for exceptional accuracy, longevity and easy cleaning. The 1:8 twist rate stabilizes bullets from 35 to 77 grains, and the

5.56 NATO chamber allows the use of both 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem. ammunition. M4 feed ramps provide improved operational reliability, and the matte black oxide finish reduces glare and provides corrosion resistance. A Ruger ® flash suppressor is provided, and the ½''-28 threaded barrel allows for standard muzzle accessories to be installed.

The ergonomic pistol grip features an extended trigger reach for more precise trigger control.

The chrome-plated bolt carrier inside diameter and chrome-plated gas key inside diameter provide exceptional resistance to hot gases. The gas key is staked so that it will not loosen after extensive firing. A matte black oxide finish on the exterior of the bolt carrier provides corrosion resistance.

The single stage trigger provides durable and reliable fire control. The enlarged trigger guard is designed to allow for gloved shooting.

The handguards are made from heat-resistant glass-filled nylon for shooting comfort and durability.

Drilled and tapped for additional rails at the 3:00, 6:00 and 9:00 positions (two additional rail sections included), providing ample space for mounting sights, lights, lasers or other accessories.

F E A T U R E S :

Each Ruger American Rimfire® rifle includes two interchangeable stock modules that provide comb height options for scope or iron sight use. Standard models come with long length of pull modules, while compact models come with short length of pull modules. By simply removing the rear sling swivel stud, stock modules can be changed in seconds. All four stock modules are completely interchangeable across all models and are available at ShopRuger.com.

Models chambered in .22 LR feature the detachable, flush-mounted 10/22 ® BX-1 10-round rotary magazine. Accepts all 10/22 ® magazines, including the BX-25® and BX-25®x2.

Models chambered in .22 Magnum and .17 HMR use the detachable, flush-mounted JMX-1 9-round rotary magazine.

Easy-to-use 10/22®-style extended magazine release provides smooth, no-fuss magazine removal.

Patent-pending Power Bedding® integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for outstanding accuracy.

Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger offers a crisp release with a pull weight that is user adjustable between 3 and 5 pounds.

Ergonomic, lightweight black composite stock (designed for quick, easy handling) blends a classic look with modern forend contouring and grip serrations.

Features a visible, accessible and easy-to-actuate tang safety.

Satin blued, target-crowned, cold-hammer-forged barrel results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy, longevity and easy cleaning.

A 3/8'' rimfire scope base is machined into the receiver, which is also drilled and tapped for Weaver® #12 bases (not included).

A 60˚ bolt provides ample scope clearance, while an easy-to-use, receiver-mounted bolt release allows the bolt to be readily removed without requiring a pull of the trigger, a unique safety feature among rimfire, bolt-action rifles.

Also Includes: Williams ™ fiber optic front sight and 10/22®-style adjustable, “V” slot, folding-leaf rear sight; sling swivel studs.

2. CHECK TO BE CERTAIN THAT THE CHAMBER AND MAGAZINE ARE EMPTY.

3. Unscrew and remove the rear sling swivel stud (See Figure 1).

4. Pull the module back and off (See Figure 2).

5. To install the replacement module, insert the desired module into the stock and reinstall the rear sling swivel stud.

Three-position safety is easily accessible and allows the shooter to lock the bolt to load and unload the rifle with the safety engaged.

Solid, heat-treated alloy and stainless steel actions feature a rugged, stainless steel bolt with 90˚ bolt lift and ultra-fast lock time for added accuracy.

Detachable rotary magazine features a unique rotor to separate cartridges and provide reliable feeding; mounts flush with the stock to eliminate protrusions at the rifle’s balance point.

Ruger® scope rings are also available individually, allowing you to purchase only the ring needed, or mix and match, without the added expense of

purchasing two rings at a time. For example, the Ruger® Hawkeye® rifles are shipped from the factory with a #4 front ring and a #5 rear ring,

which translates to a medium height scope mount. If you desire a high scope mount, you only need to mount the #5 ring on the front scope mount,

and purchase one new #6 ring to mount on the rear scope mount.

Scope ring heights will be identified by a number manufactured into the lower half of the ring. Below is a ring chart showing the part number and

Catalog Number for each scope ring. When ordering scope rings, please use the 5-digit Catalog No. (90XXX). If you have questions about which

The patented Ruger® Conversion Kit is an entirely new operating system for these revolvers. It can help prevent accidental discharges caused by a drop or blow to the hammer if the user has failed to take the basic safety precaution of keeping the hammer down on an empty chamber. That’s very important!

This mechanism can be factory-installed without any further alteration. The frame and other major parts will not be affected by this conversion. The value of the gun will not be impaired,

and we will return your original parts for collector’s purposes.

LCP® RECALL NOTICE: During 2008, Ruger received a small number of reports from the field indicating that LCP® pistols discharged when dropped

onto a hard surface with a round in the chamber. We are firmly committed to safety and would like to retrofit all affected LCP® pistols. The retrofit involves

installation of an upgraded hammer mechanism at no charge to the customer.

We want to remind gun users that, for maximum safety when carrying any pistol with a loaded magazine in place, the chamber should be empty, and the slide should be closed. Any gun may fire if dropped or struck.

How to determine if your pistol needs the retrofit: All LCP® pistols bearing prefix “370” (that is, serial number 370-xxxxx) may be affected. Newly manufactured

and retrofitted “370” prefix LCP® pistols with the new hammer mechanism installed have been marked with a diamond in the flat portion of the slot just behind and

below the hammer, as shown to the right. If your pistol has the diamond, it does not need the retrofit. Going forward, new pistols will be marked with the serial number prefix “371” (serial number 371-xxxxx).

Pistols with the “371” prefix (or higher) are not affected. When we return your pistol, we also will send you a FREE magazine with the new finger grip extension as a “thank you” for your patience and

SR9® RECALL NOTICE: We have determined that some Ruger® SR9® pistols manufactured between October 2007

and April 2008 can, under certain conditions, fire if dropped with their manual safeties in the “off” or “fire” position. The pistols

will not fire if the manual safety is in the “on” or “safe” position.

We have designed a new trigger group which prevents firing when dropped and are retrofitting all Ruger® SR9® pistols starting

with serial number prefix “330” (330-xxxxx) with these new parts at NO CHARGE to our customers. When we return your pistol,

we also will send you a FREE magazine as a “thank you” for your patience and cooperation.

In order to ensure correct fitting, the new parts must be installed at our Ruger factory in Prescott, Arizona. We will remove the
