This problem was investiga d bythese engineers while at GreenBank, and other areas on thei rreturn to Weston. They informedMike that Dr. Hvatum was absolute-ly right in his observation, andthey have started troub le-shoot-ing their equipment to eliminatethese ghosts, which means betterTV viewing in the near future.

Hvatum.Dr. Hvatum made the observationto them that the ghosts seen onchannel 5 TV were not reflectedsignals, but true transmissionsdue to some mismatch or ringingeffect within the transmittingequipment. Mike investigatedthis further, noting that ghostsexist on TV sets in Weston,Clarksburg, Sutton, and Elkinsanywhere you view channel 5.
