Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Spied Testing Again Prior to Official Launch in India A spy video of the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has spread across social media, where the motorcycle can be seen in traffic and with accessories. The viewers can also listen to the exhaust note that seems shorter than existing model. Royal Enfield, India's classic motorcycle manufacturer, is ready to launch a new generation and more powerful Himalayan motorcycle in India. This upcoming Himalayan is expected to have a more powerful engine configuration, and it's got spotted testing on Indian roads. In the spy video, we can easily see how the exhaust note will sound and look from the rear profile. The spy shot reflects that the bike has accessories, including a top-box mount and saddle stays. According to the sources, the production for the new Himalayan is almost ready, and Royal Enfield can soon make an official announcement about the launch date and expected specifications. A spy video of one of the test mules shows that the Himalayan 450 is being tested on Indian roads and can be seen in traffic. We can also listen to the exhaust note of this upcoming Royal Enfield motorcycle. The video clearly shows that the exhaust note is shorter than existing Royal Enfield Himalayan models. According to sources, it may get a new liquid-cooled 450cc powertrain capable of generating around 45 bhp of power and 40 Nm of torque. Once launched, it can directly compete with KTM 390 Adventure and Yezdi Adventure motorcycles. The current variant of the KTM 390 Adventure delivers 44 HP of power and 37 Nm of torque. In comparison, the current models of Himalayan pack a 411cc engine and churn out 25 bhp of power and 32 Nm of torque. Therefore, customers can expect more power in the upcoming RE Himalayan 450 and a 6-speed gearbox for effective off-road riding. The new Himalayan 450 would retain some elements available in current variants. It will feature brake light turn indicators, split seats, an updated fuel tank, an LED headlight, and a longer widescreen. There may also be some tweaks in front and rear suspension to enhance overall ride performance. One of the reports says that the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450's new variants would be offered in tubeless spoked rims. The motorcycle will get a 25-inch front and 17-inch rear rim with dual-purpose tire fitting as standard. The expected ex-showroom price of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 would be costlier than the Himalayan 411 motorcycle. The existing models of Himalayan have been priced at Rs 2.06 lakh, ex-showroom. Thus, the new generation Himalayan can be priced at around Rs 2.50 lakh, ex-showroom.
