Proposal

Proposal

Part one is a delivery service that provides the citizens of Rowville door to door convenience with delivery of their weekly grocery shopping.

• Middle man will deliver custom grocery orders to the customers house, therefore eliminating the need for the everyday household travel to the supermarket via their car.

•• The system will also reduce the need for plastic or even canvas bag, as the delivery service will use (and reuse) cardboard delivery boxes to each household which can be returned to middle man for repeated use or can be 100% recycled

Page 8: Rowville 2032

Proposal

The second part to the Middleman services will be a grow-it-yourselfprogramme, which will encourage people to grow their own produce intheir home.

• Excess produce such as fruit, vegetable and herbs can then be collected by the Middle man and then redistributed amongst Rowville community.

•• There will be a quality control to check the standard of the produce that people have grown or make.

• The fresh produce that they have made, will be rewarded by a credit that they can use to pay for their delivery food. The credit will be instantly deposit into their phone credit, which will use for the food delivery payment method.

The energy required for compressing air is produced at large centralized plants, making it less costly and •more effective to manage carbon emissions than from individual vehicles.

Compressed air engines reduce the cost of vehicle production by about 20%, because there is no need to •build a cooling system, spark plugs, starter motor, or mufflers.

The rate of self-discharge is very low opposed to batteries that deplete their charge slowly over time. •Compressed-air vehicles emit few pollutants.•Reduction or elimination of hazardous chemicals.•

Conclusion

Conclusion

• Economically, the service will be subsidised by those who participate in the grow -it-yourself programme

• Thesystem ensures that Rowville remains a locally self-sufficient town, and will limit the amount of imported produce, therefore reducing the carbon footprint causes by delivery trucks and vehicles.

•• We believe the system is sustainable in its ability to grow beyond Rowville. It’s potential to be implemented and developed elsewhere is endless.

• It provides not only convenience, but also a greener solution to a world without cars.

• It educates people in the need to consume less, and to bring sense of community via the food industry.
