Official Newsletter for the Residents of Round Rock Ranch

Back to School

Dear RRR Residents,

Your RRR HOA Board of Directors has been working diligently with Spectrum Association Management to bring our Association up to date. One of our challenges is to bring the outstanding balances of homeowner’s HOA dues current.

If you are not up to date with your HOA dues, you will be receiving a notice from Spectrum attempting to collect your outstanding balance. Please submit your payment to avoid any further collection fees or penalties.

Fall is here and this is the perfect time of year to replant your yards and shrubs that may need replacing. We all take pride in the appearance of our neighborhood as our yards are the first impression one gets when driving thru Round Rock Ranch. To help save HOA $$$ please bring your yards into compliance and avoid notices being sent out for violations.

Pool season has ended and your HOA Board is in the process of having video cameras installed at both pools. We have had several reports of vandalism at both pools this summer and think this will help avert some of the mischief that is occurring.

Thank you for helping make Round Rock Ranch the best place to live!

Enclave Update Hello, Enclave! It’s already October, and National Night

Out has come and gone. A big “THANKS” goes out to those neighbors who participated. The message we send is clear: Neighbors who know each other are Neighbors who watch out for each other!

There is an Enclave Board meeting currently scheduled for Thursday, October 17th at 7pm at The Fontana’s. This information is current as of this writing but if you would like to attend, please keep an eye out for the posting by the mailboxes, contact PAMco @ 512-918-8100 for an update or email the board at [email protected] to confirm the date and time.

The Rosenborough Entry Gate took some time to repair – we appreciate your patience with our preferred welder who was on vacation when the incident happened. In general, the gates are closed more and operating better than they ever have, mostly thanks to him.

The incident occurred sometime between 7pm on August 14th and 7am on August 15th. Evidence indicates that a vehicle rolled up to the entrance gate, slowly, and then forced it open, breaking a part that was over $400 to replace, plus labor. This type of behavior is a criminal offense. We are not sure whether it is a resident or a visitor – but shame on you if you are reading this. If we could pin this crime on you, we would throw everything the Board has at its disposal to make an example of you.

If you are interested in learning how to open the Rosenborough Gates in case of an Emergency, please email the Board @ [email protected] . It takes about 5-10 minutes to learn what to do if the power goes out or either gate will not open. For example, if this recent vandalism was a result of an inoperable motor, the gate could have been opened in minutes.

Briarton Gates operate a little differently as they were installed later on. If you are interested in getting together to learn more about their operation and some tricks to open them in an emergency, please contact the Board via email.

There has been some discussion on using “Game Cams” to try to catch gate vandals, but as we keep going over our gate repair budget, even a couple hundred dollars for cameras is out of the question.

Don’t forget: Fall Clean Up Day is currently scheduled for Saturday, October 26th. We usually get started around 9am. If you are interested in participating, please email the Board. We are attempting to get some outside volunteers this year and it would be kind of sad if they are the only ones who showed up.
