ROTC PaYS TUTORIAL
Cadets must create an account to access the Cadet portal (armycadetportal.com).
Once created, sign into the Cadet portal with your email address and password.

Select ‘Reserve a PaYS Job’.
ROTC PaYS TUTORIAL
Army PaYS Program introductory overview screen.
To proceed click ‘Reserve a PaYS Job’.
ROTC PaYS TUTORIAL
Click ‘OK’ to access the ROTC PaYS Reservation System.
ROTC PaYS TUTORIAL
Select “Reserve Job” to begin the process.
ROTC PaYS TUTORIAL
There are five search criteria to narrow results. The only required entry is the
year of graduation/commissioning.
ROTC PaYS TUTORIAL
Once the selection criterion is entered select the ‘Search Jobs’ button.
ROTC PaYS TUTORIAL
Click the job title hyperlink to view job description and qualifications. Cadets
must be qualified for the job at the time of application. Print job details as
necessary.
ROTC PaYS TUTORIAL
Select radio button to left of desired position, then click ‘Reserve the Selected
Job’ button at the bottom left.
ROTC PaYS TUTORIAL
Review selection one more time to make sure this is the desired position.
ROTC PaYS TUTORIAL
After reviewing click ‘Reserve this Job’ to confirm selection.
ROTC PaYS TUTORIAL
The job has been successfully reserved. Print the job details and PaYS partner
contact information before exiting.
ROTC PaYS TUTORIAL
Click ‘Cadet Home’ to return to the home screen.
ROTC PaYS TUTORIAL
Cadet is returned to the reservation system home to select another employment
opportunity with a different PaYS partner.
ROTC PaYS TUTORIAL
Cadet can print the job details and contact information for PaYS partner by
clicking on job details.
