NEWS & EVENTS Today we are blessed with the return of Trudy
Marshall to update us on Libraries of Love (LOL). For those of you
who are not familiar with LOL, the following is their simple but
highly effective mission
statement: "The purpose of Libraries of Love is to promote
literacy in partnering with Africans to create libraries in
individual schools,
provide financial support to assist in the educational
development of individuals, and address humanitarian needs in
Africa." Since the inception of the program in 2005, LOL has grown,
as has Trudy, into a
phenomenal effort that has drawn positive recognition and
comment from such world renown folks as x-Presidential First Lady
Laura Bush.
Prepare to be amazed at what one dedicated person can accomplish
as Trudy gives her latest statistics and adventure stories. For
more information, go to: https://librariesoflove.org/
