2017 SEMI-ANNUAL FOUNDATION BOARD MINUTES - • Reviewed current fund reports provided by Les Dieckmann • Board reviewed current asset allocation of funds. Board voted

to move $20,000 from First National Bank Money Market funds to Vanguard Wellington Mutual Funds to move closer to last year’s allocation goals.

• Set Hampton Scholarship funds at $6000 for 2016 • Board nominated Roger Eichner and Les Dieckmann for new 2

year terms of 2016 and 2017. Actions of the Club:

• Club meeting moved, seconded and approved the nominations and elections of Roger & Les.

• There was discussion of possibly funding the proposed Beatty Tech scholarship for $1,000 from the Foundation account in the 2017 year.

FEBRUARY SPEAKERS DISTRICT ATTENDANCE

Ranger Paul Trusty - North Park Ranger spoke to the Rotary Club of Hampton Township on February 11, 2016. Ranger Paul is one of the full time rangers working for the Allegheny County Parks. Ranger Trusty went to college in Oregon, then went to graduate school in Montana where his graduate work focused on the study of mushrooms and fungi. Ranger Trusty works in North Park, Hartwood Acres, and Deer Lakes Park.
