• “Service Above Self” is our motto
• Rotaract co-hosted a Halloween party with Lexington Charity Club, LYPA, and the
Urban League. We raised $1,200 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass
through collaboration and sponsorship recruitment!

• Our members volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House, the Hope Center, the
Hope Lodge, Arbor Youth Services, GreenHouse17, and the Carnegie Center.
• Members volunteered at Dancing with the Lexington Stars. This was an event
presented by Rotary, which benefited Surgery on Sunday.
• We volunteered with Rotary as Christmas elves at the Kentucky Horse Park. These
photos with Santa raised funds to purchase coats for children in need.

[International Service] • 2014-15 Committee Chair: Emma Wolfe
• Rotaract hosted a tailgate at Keeneland’s Spring Meet, where we enjoyed food,
drinks, and a great turnout! This was in conjunction with a visit from the Rotaract
Club of Birmingham, a large well-established chapter that we learned much from.
We took up donations for a friend serving in the Philippines with the International
Justice Mission, an organization working to end human trafficking.

[Club Service] • 2014-15 Committee: Kristen Dawes
• Rotaract hosted our annual membership social at Blue Stallion Brewery in the fall
of 2014. Many Rotaractors, Rotarians, and community members attended in
support of our chapter. We received five new member applications at the event!
