When is Eucharistic Adoration?
Eucharistic adoration is every Third Friday of the month from 9 AM until Benediction at 9 PM that same evening.
What do I do while I am before the Blessed Sacrament?
Each person is different. Some will bring the scriptures to pray with, others will pray the rosary while still others will simply sit and enjoy the contemplative silence.
What if I can’t spend a whole hour in adoration?
Any time spent before Jesus is time well spent.
What is Benediction?
At the end of the time of Adoration, a priest or deacon approaches the altar and with those assembled prays the divine praises. Following this he blesses those assembled with the Blessed Sacrament.
