Group B

SavDen® MTA exhibited perfect sealingability and excellent biocompatibility in the endodontics.As shown in group A, the dye-penetration test, extremely absent dye-invasion indicated better sealingability ofSavDen® MTA in the root-end filling. In the cell survival assay(group B), the survival rate of osteoblast MC3T3-E1cells on the SavDen® MTA-hydrated tablet(109.1±7.5%) is better than on the ProRoot® MTA-hydratedtablet(96.5±4.0%)*. In addition, on the surface of SavDen® MTA-hydrated tablet, microspikes and nuclearprotrusions were observed in the cytoplasm, which appeared healthy and adherent.
