WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
RAM: random access memory
ROM: read only memory
WHAT TYPE OF MEMORY IS ROM?
ROM is memory that cannot be changed by a program or user. ROM retains its memory even after the computer is switched off.
WHAT TYPE OF MEMORY IS RAM?
RAM is a fast temporary type of memory in which application and data is stored.
DO THEY DIFFER?
Yes one stores memory and one forgets it when it turns off.
WHAT IS VOLATILE MEMORY?
Volatile memory is computer storage that only maintains its data while the device is powered.
