With a full schedule of engaging exhibits and inspiring art classes, the “lazy days of summer” are anything but lazy. Please check out all the upcoming activities below. The Rogue Gallery has reached its fund raising goal for the studio remodel. I would like to thank all of you who donated to this project. During the upcoming long hot days of summer, I encourage you to come visit us. Whether you’re looking for a social activity at our 3rd Friday Receptions or just need a break from the heat to recharge your inner artist, Rogue Gallery has something for you this summer. Find a camp that will suit your young artist. See all the camp descriptions and sign up on-line at our education page at RogueGallery.org. Adults can expand their art skills in a variety of media or learn something completely new. For class descriptions and on-line registration go to roguegallery.org. Starting with the generous gift of a $10,000 matching fund from an anonymous patron, over 70 individual donors responded to this challenge. With this strong backing the studio was well positioned to receive grant funding. We are pleased to announce we have received grants from the Ford Family Foundation, the Fred W. Fields Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation, and the Olsrud Family Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation. We now have the funding to remodel the Rogue Studio. Construction has started. Camps and classes will continue to run during the construction. Many thanks to the donors and foundations who helped fund our studio remodel! SUMMER ART CAMPS ART IN BLOOM 2016 On Mother’s Day weekend, Rogue Gallery celebrated art and spring blooms at Downtown Medford’s Annual Art in Bloom Festival. At the Gallery, attendees could make tissue paper butterflies, handmade Mother’s Day cards, and enter a painting contest. Special thanks to our Art in Bloom sponsor, Southern Oregon Subaru!
