BUILDINGSMiddle East - Bahrain

I was on site on Marina West

project for 8months in Budiya,

Bahrain. It was the biggest

project at the time in Bahrain.

BUILDINGSSaadiyat Island – Abu Dhabi. February 2010 to January 2011

Here again I was on site,

ensuring smooth flow of

construction works. My

relationship building skills also

helped greatly as I was able to

gain the respect of the Abu

Dhabi government inspector.

Before he would often reject

work, causing delays to the

works.

Assisted the Senior Engineer

with the design of this 4 span,

post tensioned bridge over a

National highway in South

Africa, see details in my CV.

On site for 1 year as Bridge

Superintendent or Resident

Engineer as its known in South

Africa. I personally also

designed the 30m long post-

tensioned beams.

BRIDGESFire Damage Report

I was responsible for compiling

the damage assessment and

repair strategy report for a fire

damaged bridge in Cape town.

I spent 7 months on site at the

Nad Al Sheba racecourse

access roads. The project had a

total of 7 bridges and two

separate contractors, Dutco

Beatty Balfour and Afcons.

to existing one. Piling in

progress, oscillator piles to a

depth of 40m.

Resolving bursting steel – arriving at a practical workable arrangement. This was also checked by calculation.
