Rock

Rock music is a genre of popular music that originated as "rock and roll" in 1950s America and developed into a range of different styles in the 1960s and later, particularly in the United Kingdom and the United States.

The rock comes from jazz, rhytm & blues, and country music.

Musically, rock has centered around the electric guitar, usually as part of a rock group with bass guitar and drums.

The first rocker are Elvis Prestley. His first song “That´s All Right Mama” are the first rock song.

Also Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley and Little Richard are famous rockers of 50´s.

In years 60´s the rock has influnced by r&b, surf rock, and rockavillie. The most important groups of 60´s are The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles.

There were singers and influential groups like Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton and Jefferson Airplane and others.

In this decade there were several of the greatest rock bands of all time such as Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, AC DC, Deep Purple and Scorpions.

Start an evolution towards heavy metal rock. They are among the most influential bands Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi, Europe, Mötley Crüe, Quiet Riot or Twisted Sister.

In terms of pop and alternative rock alternative rock which use the guitar, drums, pianos, synthesizers, etc.. include Linkin Park, Muse, Coldplay, Green Day, Evanescence and Incubus. Early and mid-2000s.

In Spain arrives with rock groups like The Beatles, but when truly succeeds is from 1975. The first rock groups were among others Los Brincos.
