By dispensing with access aisles drive-inracking provides a high-density of storage ina given area to increase capacity by some60-80% over conventional ‘aisle’ racking.

Safe cost effectivepallet racking solutions

A variant on standard adjustable beamracking, Double-deep, as the name implies,allows pallets to be stored two deep but stillaccessible from the same aisle. By reducingthe number of access aisles and using thespace saved to accommodate additionalracking, a Double-deep configuration providesa highly space-efficient storage system.

Effectively utilising floor and cubic space,dynamic Push-back racking is amongst themost space and time-efficient pallet storagesystems available.

Pallets are loaded in sequence onto wheeledcarriers of differing heights and are pushedback along inclined steel guide channels toutilise the full depth of the racking.

Pallets can be stored up to four deep and whena load is retrieved the remaining pallets rollforward into position at the picking face.

Pallets are retrieved on a 'first-in, last-out'basis and with each product having a dedicatedlane, Dynamic push-back racking isparticularly useful in marshalling areas, and forlong-term bulk storage and handling.


SpecialistRackingWhilst providing the ideal means ofstoring palletised loads, the versatilityof the racking system means large,bulky or simply awkward to storeitems can be accommodated usingthe most accessible and space-efficient methods.

Cantilever racking is ideal forstoring long items such as packs oftimber or steel pipes. Columns arepunched on both sides as standard,allowing use as single-sided anddouble-sided racks.

Vertical racking can be used for thevertical storage of long items. Thearms are used as dividers providingstability to the product and can beadjusted horizontally in response tostock increases and decreases.

Coil racking is designed for the storage ofmaterial on reels or drums (often electricalcable). The drum, located on a steel spindle isconventionally handled by forklift trucks andpositioned in the desired rack location.

Pallet live racking provides extremely highlevels of storage density in a given area.

Pallets are loaded onto dedicated lanes ofinclined gravity rollers which are set at afixed gradient. When a load is taken fromthe picking face, the next pallet rolls intoposition, with replenishment stock loaded atthe opposite (upper) end of the lane.

Carton live storage or ‘flow racking’operates on the same principle as pallet livestorage, but is used for stock which needs tobe hand-loaded and picked.
