Robotics and Automated Manufacturing Uniform and Dress Code Expectations
Students entering C-TEC are expected to establish appearance and dress standards consistent with industry expectations. C-TEC programs are visible in the community, and many employers are actively involved in supporting our programs. The Uniform and Dress Code Expectations for this program have been developed with input from business advisory members. The C-TEC Dress Code applies in all situations.
Uniforms will be purchased by the student directly from the vendor: Dush Graphix, 364-0344 or by using the attached order form. The student is to be in uniform the first day of school and is expected to follow C-TEC Dress Code.
Uniform Requirements
� Shirts - Program-specific shirts with program logo are required and must be worn for the duration of the
day. Students must purchase at least 5 shirts and a fleece. - No coats or jackets of any form can be worn during the school day with the exception of the
program-specific fleece jackets.
� Pants - Khakis or Jeans should be worn and must be clean, neat, and wrinkle free. Pants may not have
holes and must be worn around WAIST at all times. - Sweat pants, jogging pants, and pajama pants are not permitted.
� Shoes
- A leather work shoe or boot must be worn for safety reasons in the lab. The student may wear dress code appropriate shoes in academic classes.
� Jewelry
- C-TEC Dress and Grooming regulations should be followed. - No watches, rings, or necklaces may be worn in the lab. No exceptions. - Students will be required to wear safety glasses in lab. Students with prescription eye glasses must
keep the glasses pushed up tightly to the face, and may be required to get side-shields.
� Professional Grooming
- Hair must be washed, groomed and professional looking. Long hair must be pulled back in the lab. - ID Badge must be worn. - Students are to present themselves in a professional manner, ready to work each day.
