1. Pranav Ganta, Honor Teacher: Tisha Rehn, LHS AP English LanguageWhether it’s the development of unique projects to tackle false dichotomies or the creation of silent reading Fridays, Mrs. Rehn never fails tolook beyond the classroom and transform seemingly mundane information into meaningful knowledge that will stay with us for not only oureducational pursuits but also our everyday lives.

2. Italia Salazar, Honor Teacher: Lauren Langston, LHS Pre-AP/ GT Pre-CalculusIf I had to pick one word to describe Mrs. Langston, it would be zesty. Zesty is defined to be someone of great enthusiasm, strength, energy,liveliness, and spice. Mrs. Langston impacted my life and high school career by setting an example of whom I aspire to be like in the future.Thank you Mrs. Langston for being the zesty teacher you are and for your dedication toward me and your other students.

3. Cole Pool, Honor Teacher: Leesha Seidel, Carver Center Science TeacherMrs. Seidel inspired me from an early age to question the world around me and to work diligently and creatively on my schoolwork. Morethan this, she and the other 6th grade teachers at Carver Center taught other students and I to appreciate learning and to incorporate fun intoour school lives. I thank Mrs. Seidel for teaching me what it's like to enjoy learning and to take pride in my work.

4. Carson Page, Honor Teacher: Trenton Davis, LHS former Choir DirectorMr. Davis is kind yet rigid, intelligent yet charismatic, controlled yet compassionate, and everything else you might want in a director andmentor. Along with my musical journey, Mr. Davis has also influenced numerous other facets of my life including discipline, punctuality, andbeing a part of something greater than yourself. Life is more than meets the eye, and no one exemplifies this idea more than this man. Thankyou, Mr. Davis, for all you have done for myself and the Lee choir.

5. Madison Bernal, Honor Teacher: Yessica Sanchez, LHS Calculus BCMs. Sanchez has taught me what it means to work hard for what you want, the importance of perseverance and how to cope with failure. I canconfidently say that Calculus BC was one of the most challenging classes I took in high school, but I learned how to see each failure as anopportunity to grow and to dig my heels in and say “I can do it.” I will carry the things I learned from Ms. Sanchez with me throughout myjourney away from Lee High School.

6. Holley Kiker, Honor Teacher: Laurie Wash, LHS ChoirI admire everything about Mrs. Wash. She tirelessly devotes herself to the needs of others and is willing to do whatever it takes to bring herstudents and peers comfort and joy, even at the expense of her own. Mrs. Wash is a light in this world and shines her humility, love, and ma-ternal nature into everything she commits herself to. Her method of teaching is inspiring and she never lets her students, including me, settlefor anything less than what they are capable of achieving.

7. Ridge Atwood, Honor Teacher: Coach Jason Smith, Lee Freshman PreAP BiologyCoach Smith’s class challenged me to study and put in extra effort to get better grades. His enjoyable teaching methods made me interested inbiology and other sciences. Coach Smith was such a great teacher who got me more interested and more invested in school. Thanks to hisclass pushing me, I tried a bit harder in my other classes. I kept the work ethic I learned in his class, and that’s what brought me to be ranked7th in the class.

8. Dominic Willis, Honor Teacher: Cameron Connell, LHS PercussionWith the kindness and assistance I have received from Mr. Connell, I have not only been able to make great strides in my musicianship andcharacter, but I also discovered that I want to pursue a life of creating music. Of all of the teachers I have had through my time as a student,no one has shaped the journey I am currently pursuing more than Mr. Connell. I am incredibly grateful to have had him as my teacher forthese past 6 years!

9. Caden Britton, Honor Teacher: Kimberlea Brandon, LHS Floral DesignMrs. Brandon was a rock in my life throughout my entire high school career. Whether it was a good day or a bad day, Mrs. Brandon was al-ways there as an energetic and supportive teacher to keep me going. Mrs. Brandon is someone who I will strive to be like when I get olderbecause of her ability to be positive in any situation and her consistent support for everyone in her life.

10. Hector Carrasco, Honor Teacher: Aimee Fisher, English IIMrs. Fisher helped me sophisticate my writing and pushed me to be a better student through her rigorous and high standards. Although herclass was difficult, I enjoyed the atmosphere she radiated and the freedom she provided my classmates and I to collaborate and work withoutconstant scrutiny or surveillance.
