Happy New Year! I hope that you all enjoyed some quality time with your families over the last few weeks. As much as I enjoyed spending time with my family over the break, I am looking forward to seeing the halls of Rockwell full of students and staff again. The students always have so much to share regarding all of the fun adventures they had with you over the break. One of the exciting events that occurred over Winter Break was an opportunity to play in our Wisconsin Winterland. Students will be enjoying the snow during their recesses and will have the opportunity to play in it if they wear the appropriate attire. Kindergartners thru Third Graders are required to wear snow pants and boots to be able to play in the snow. Fourth and Fifth Graders are allowed to be in the snow if they are wearing boots but can only play in it if they are wearing snow pants. Students know that snow is to stay on the ground and that throwing it is not allowed. They also know that building snowmen and snow forts are a fun way to enjoy the winter weather and they should be respectful of other students’ creations. Happy New Year!

I hope that you all enjoyed some quality time

with your families over the last few weeks. As much

as I enjoyed spending time with my family over the

break, I am looking forward to seeing the halls of

Rockwell full of students and staff again. The students

always have so much to share regarding all of the fun

adventures they had with you over the break.

One of the exciting events that occurred over Winter

Break was an opportunity to play in our Wisconsin

Winterland. Students will be enjoying the snow during

their recesses and will have the opportunity to play in it

if they wear the appropriate attire.

• Kindergartners thru Third Graders are required to

wear snow pants and boots to be able to play in the

snow.

• Fourth and Fifth Graders are allowed to be in the

snow if they are wearing boots but can only play in

it if they are wearing snow pants.

Students know that snow is to stay on the ground and

that throwing it is not allowed. They also know that

building snowmen and snow forts are a fun way to

enjoy the winter weather and they should be respectful

of other students’ creations.

Thank you for your continued partnership in ensuring

the safety of all of our students during these winter

months.

Best Wishes, Mrs. Walden
