Service Level Agreement (SLA)

– Must be business led Quantifiable loss due to unplanned outages

eg Financial Cost , Credibility with Customers ?

All must be Identified & Quantified by Business Leaders

– Must be understood and accepted by IT

– Must include application availability tolerances

– Must take into account application performance thresholds
