These five sections will bring on 100 new homesites. We are busy preparing some of the existing lots in Pinelands, Claremont and Kenton so that the builders can begin construction on the homesites. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience that this may cause. We will be keeping the streets swept and any damage to the roadways will be repaired. There are a number of new amenities that are being worked on as well. The Claremont park is being restored back to its previous condition and should be complete by the first week in May. We are extremely excited to announce that a new lower walking trail will begin construction in April and will add about 1500 linear feet of trail connecting Napiers Post, Grahmstown, Middleton and Newcastle. There are two additional neigh- borhood parks that will be opening this spring. One of the parks will be in Newcastle and there will also be one in Middleton IV. The future for Riverwood Plantation is bright and we will be adding even more opportu- nities for memories. Growing your own fruits and vegetables this summer is the perfect way to go organic, without hurting your wallet! Share the experience of growing owers, fruits and veggies with your children or grandchildren. What a perfect way to oer family-friendly, healthy choices! Your health and wallet will reap the benets! Cost for 1 plot is $50.Contact Amy Jordan to reserve a plot@ [email protected]

A TIP FROM OUR LANDSCAPING TEAMRight now is the time to Pre-emerge your lawns. If you over seeded your lawn (put out rye grass) you can go with a higher nitrogen (the first number on the fertilizer bag) to brighten the rye grass

up. If you didn't over seed your yard a lower nitrogen number is fine. This is the time of year when a lot of people start to do spring cleaning. The same goes for your lawn. As the temperatures start to

warm I hope to see a lot of y’all outside enjoying the weather and your yards. Justin Burton, Landscape Director

“Quality You Can See”

LICENSED, INSURED & BONDED

Did You Know… Shingle roofs, over time, develop a black growth over the entire life of the shingle. The algae (Gloeacapsa magma) feed on organic filler materials such as limestone in asphalt shingles.

Left unattended, this creates shortened shingle life, increases electric bills because of the insulating factor of the algae and is just not attractive from the street. Our process involves a high volume and

very low pressure to apply professional quality detergents. No Pressure Washing Equipment is used in the process!!

Sarah Arnett resides in Riverwood Plantation with her husband Will and their

three children, Audrey, Ada Scott and Mark. They have a home in Bedford and have been

part of our community for nearly a year.

When asked her favorite part about living in Riverwood Sarah responded, “I really enjoy the proximity to the schools. I walk to pick

up my girls and we all walk home together.”

Anything Riverwood could do to improve? “Better communication about the pool

schedule and availability would help to plan our pool days.”

We want to say “Thank You” to the Arnett Family for helping to make

Riverwood as special as it is! Sarah Arnett and her children at the RWP Playground enjoying a warm spring day!
