From the beginning, the Riverview Park initiative has been a locally sponsored and maintained effort, working with the encouragement and support of Des Moines city government agencies.

A Citizen initiative for Des Moines

Phase one

The RIVIERA STAGE will be donated to the City of Des Moines when complete, a gift to the city.

This citizen initiative will then be administered by Des Moines Parks and Recreation Department.
