Bitte beachten Sie hierzu auch die Herstel-lerangaben der zu verbauenden Kompo-nenten. Es sind besonders die zulssigenUmgebungsparameter wie Temperatur,Luftfeuchtigkeit und die Anforderungen andie Umgebungsluft zu bercksichtigen.

Achtung, das TS IT Rack muss, bei Instal-lation mit offenen oder teilweise geff-neten, elektrischen Komponenten undeiner leicht entflammbaren Oberflche am

Aufstellungsort, zustzlich von unten mitBodenblechen verschlossen sein.

19-Verstellung Achtung, Gefahr durch herabfallendeGerte. Beim Verstellen der Profilschienen/Montagerahmen/Schwenkrahmen drfenkeine Gerte auf diesen eingebaut sein.

RackstabilisierungJe nach Aufstellungsort und/oder Rack-Kon-figuration sind Stabilisierungsmanahmenempfehlenswert bzw. erforderlich.

Erdung Jedes TS IT Rack muss vor Inbetrieb-nahme fachgerecht mit der Erdung amAufstellungsort verbunden werden.

Hierzu wird die Verwendung des im Liefer-umfang enthaltenen, zentralen Erdungs-punkts empfohlen.

Die Erdung darf nur von geschultem Fach-personal mit entsprechender Zulassungdurchgefhrt werden.

Rackbestckung Die Installation der Gerte muss den jewei-ligen Bestimmungen fr die Installationvon elektrischen Gerten und Gerten derDatenverarbeitungstechnik entsprechen.

Die Installation darf nur von geschultemFachpersonal mit entsprechender Zulas-sung durchgefhrt werden.

Bevor Sie das TS IT Rack bestcken,sollten Sie die Platzierung aller Komponen-ten festlegen. Die Faktoren der jeweiligenKomponenten, wie Gewicht, Erreichbarkeitsowie Anforderungen an Stromversorgung,Temperatur und Luftzirkulation, habeneinen Einfluss auf die Reihenfolge und denOrt, an dem Sie die Komponenten im Rackplatzieren. Platzieren Sie die schwerstenKomponenten stets unten im TS IT Rack.Dadurch erhhen Sie die Standsicherheit.

Fr Bauteile oder Komponenten, diemehr als 22,5 kg wiegen, werden fr dieMontage und Demontage mindestens zweiPersonen bentigt.

Es ist stets auf eine ordnungsgemeBefestigung bzw. auf eine gesicherte Lagealler Komponenten und Rack-Bauteile zuachten.

Vor der Inbetriebnahme mssen dieTS IT Racks, egal ob in Einzelaufstellungoder als Rackreihe, mit geeigneten Seiten-wnden verschlossen werden.

Vorsicht bei Auszugskomponenten undGertebodenauszug Zur Vermeidung von Verletzungen oder

Sachschden mssen Sie das TS IT Rackangemessen stabilisieren, bevor Sie eineKomponente oder einen Gerteboden ausdem Rack herausziehen.

Ziehen Sie immer nur eine Komponente/einen Gerteboden heraus. Das Rackkann instabil werden, wenn mehrereKomponenten gleichzeitig herausgezogenwerden.

Safety notesDanger!Immediate danger to life andlimb.

Unpacking and moving Attention: The TS IT rack is top-heavyand can tilt over. At least two persons arerequired when moving or unpacking therack.

Failure to observe this rule may lead toserious injuries and/or material damage.

Operating environment Attention: The TS IT rack is designedexclusively for use as intended in indoorenvironments.

Also observe the information provided bythe manufacturer(s) of the componentsto be installed. Particular attention mustbe paid to the permissible environmentalparameters, such as temperature andhumidity, and to the demands placed onthe ambient air.

Attention: In case of installations withexposed or partially exposed electricalcomponents located near an inflamma-ble surface, the TS IT rack must also besealed in the base with gland plates.

482.6 mm (19) level adjustments Attention: Hazards due to falling devicesand equipment. If the mounting angles/mounting frames/swing frames are to beadjusted, no devices or equipment mustbe installed on them.

Failure to observe this rule may lead toserious injuries and/or damage to thedevices or equipment.

Rack stabilisationStabilisation measures are recommended oreven imperative, depending on the place ofinstallation and/or the rack configuration.

Earthing Each TS IT rack must be properly con-nected to the earthing system at the placeof installation before commissioning.

To this end, it is recommended that thecentral earthing point included in thescope of supply is used.

Earth connections must only be made bytrained expert personnel holding corre-sponding certificates of qualification.

Rack conguration The installation of devices and equip-ment must comply with the applicableregulations pertaining to the installationof electrical and data processing devices

and equipment. Installation work must only be performedby trained expert personnel holding cor-responding certificates of qualification.

Determine the positions of the individualcomponents before starting the actualconfiguration of the TS IT rack. Factorssuch as weight, accessibility, power sup-ply requirements, temperature and aircirculation influence the order of installa-tion and the positioning of the individualcomponents in the rack. The heaviestcomponents should always be installedin the bottom of the TS IT rack, as thatincreases the stability of the rack.

At least two persons are required to installor remove equipment or componentswhich weigh more than 22.5 kg.

Always ensure proper fixing and safeplacement of all components and rackelements.

Whether installed as a stand-alone con-figuration or in a rack suite, TS IT racksmust always be closed with appropriateside panels prior to commissioning.

Caution in case of withdrawable compon-ents and component shelves To avoid injuries or material damage, the

TS IT rack must be stabilised appropriatelybefore pulling out any withdrawable com-ponents or component shelves.

Always pull only one component or com-ponent shelf out at a time. The rack maybecome unstable if several componentsare pulled out at once.

Le non-respect de cette consigne peutentraner des blessures consquentes et/ou des dommages matriels.

Milieu ambiant Attention, la baie TS IT est exclusivementdestine une mise en uvre approprieen intrieur.

Veuillez galement respecter les indica-tions du fabricant pour les composants intgrer. Il faut, en particulier, tenircompte des paramtres ambiants commela temprature, lhumidit de lair et lesexigences vis vis de lair ambiant.

Attention, dans le cas de linstallationdquipements lectriques ouverts ou par-tiellement ouverts sur un site o certainessurfaces sont facilement inflammables,alors la baie TS IT doit tre quipe deplaques passe-cbles tanches.

Rglage 19 Attention : risques ds aux chutes desquipements. Aucun quipement ne doittre install sur les montants 19, cadresde montage 19 ou cadres pivotants lorsdu rglage de ceux-ci.

Le non-respect peut entraner des bles-sures graves et/ou des dommages sur lesappareils.

Stabilisation des baiesDes mesures de stabilisation sont conseil-les ou ncessaires en fonction du lieudimplantation et/ou de la configuration dela baie.

Accessoires :

Stabilisateurs/fixation au sol,voir le catalogue gnral.

Mise la terre Chaque baie TS IT doit, sur le lieu dim-plantation, tre relie la terre selon lesrgles de lart avant sa mise en service.

Nous vous conseillons, pour cela, lutilisa-tion de la borne centralise de mise laterre inclue dans les limites de fourniture.

La mise la terre doit tre effectueuniquement par du personnel form etqualifi qui possde lhabilitation requise.

Equipement des baies Linstallation des appareils doit corres-

pondre aux diffrentes rgles pour linstal-lation dappareils lectriques et dappa-reils de traitement des donnes.

Linstallation doit tre effectue unique-ment par du personnel form et qualifiqui possde lhabilitation requise.

Limplantation de tous les composantsdevrait tre dfinie avant dquiper la baieTS IT. Les facteurs des diffrents compo-sants comme la masse, laccessibilit ainsique les besoins dalimentation lectrique,de temprature et de circulation dairont une influence sur lordre et le lieudimplantation des composants dans labaie. Placer toujours les composants lesplus lourds dans le bas de la baie TS IT.Cela augmente la stabilit.

Le montage et le dmontage des quipe-ments ou des composants dune masse

suprieure 22,5 kg ncessitent au moinsdeux personnes. Il faut toujours veiller une fixation

conforme ou une implantation fiable detous les composants et quipements dela baie.

Quelles soient installes seules ou enranges, les baies TS IT doivent toujourstre obtures par des panneaux latrauxappropris avant leur mise en service.

Prudence avec les composants et lestablettes dappareillage extensibles Pour viter les blessures ou les dommages

matriels, il faut stabiliser convenablementla baie TS IT avant de sortir un composantou une tablette dappareillage de la baie.

Sortir toujours un seul composant ou uneseule tablette dappareillage. La baie peutdevenir instable lors de la sortie simulta-ne de plusieurs composants.
