8. Engage a School Improvement Team comprised of parents, teachers, students and administrators to provide input on strategies to improve
student achievement.

9. Review the workshop model and provide PD around specific components of reading, writing, and math workshop.

Guidance counselor and social worker will communicate and support parents with strategies to maintain good attendance by calling
parents on the 6 days of absence to provide support, encouragement and information on attendance policies in RSD.
Guidance counselor will provide guidance lessons and help students explore career options, create personal plans of study, and create MO
Connections portfolios.
Guidance counselor will have a Career Fair and invite community members, as well as parents and members of the Ritenour school
community.
Communication is shared on website summarizing components of the guidance curriculum.
Partner with Maryville University to place practicum students at Wyland Elementary School.
